Families truly are a joy to behold. I love meeting new people (after I get over my initial anxiety :/ ) and photographing all the joy that they share as a family. It's a beautiful thing! ;)

The following shoots were all taken downtown....Conroe, that is! ;) Great place for some urban/ grunge pics and just a hop, skip, and jump from my house, I might add. ;)

Absolutely, LOVED meeting the Boling family for the first time. Such beautiful and adorable faces.

And another sweet family I had the honor of meeting and photographing is the Jenkins fam! The oldest of those handsome sons is graduating this year so he got a little star treatment....and by that I just mean more pics!! ;)

It was so good to see this cute little family again. Last time I saw them little tyke was a mere few weeks old. Now she's 3 years and, OH, so fun and cute!

Baby Ruby is such a sweet bundle of joy ESPECIALLY after she got those tears out and decided to drift off into sleep. =) sigh...love a sleeping baby ;)

The Bryant's are too fun....all different personalities and so much fun!

I had fun photographing the Nichols and Milliffs. I'll let you guess which particular tyke wasn't feeling the camera that day...;)

Had a blast photographing my new friends, the Cochrans! Had to work a little extra for some of the smiles at the beginning but that's what I do!! ;)

And one of my favoritest families are the Ray's. Mommy and I were college roommates some 7 years ago! Love these faces! Looking forward to the arrival of little, baby Carson in February!

And just gotta soak up this cuteness!! Gah!!! Abigail is SUCH a doll!! Love her dimples too!

After this post I will still have 17 finished sessions to blog about?! Doubt I will get done in 2011 but that;s just how it goes this time of year. ;)

It seems like forever ago that I photographed the following families! ha!

It was so nice meeting the Highley family. Not gonna lie I was a little nervous when I heard I would have 15 minutes to photograph twin 4 year old boys and a 1 year old girl. But they were a dream!! What a great minisession!

And my dear friends, the Creamers, came to me for a mini shoot too. Loved photographing the 6 (!!!) of them! ;)

The Wernert's came to me for the first time and, boy, are they a sweet and beautiful family!! It's good to know I will be seeing a lot of them in the future!! =)))

And I just love the Anderson's. Such a fun, little family. And Jack is such a character! =)

MY THREE SONS

In case anyone is confused I do not have 3 sons but the following 3 families do! All different ages too and all so handsome and sweet.

First up is the Shirley's. This is my 3rd year to photograph this precious family. These boys (especially little chubby cheeks in the middle below) are a HILARIOUS! Never a dull moment! ;)

Next up...the Taltons...Oh Taltons!! How I love them! I've known them for years. Tammy actually photographed my wedding 7 years ago and the youngest was our ring bearer?!

And the reason why you are going to see this handsome face a little more is because Braydon is graduating high school!! Ahhh! So we needed to get a few senior pics too.

And another family I love is the Atkinson's. Their 3 little boys have had my heart for years.

It was actually raining cats and dogs the day of their session but instead of rescheduling I just shot inside their house. Thankfully they had a HUGE window.

FULL SWING

I am definitely in the full swing of the Christmas season! It has been a blast so far but also, not gonna lie, a bit stressful... being a work from home Mom of a very active toddler and preschooler and a wife of a husband who works full time is a HUGE job in itself. *sigh* But I really do love what I do.... so forgive me for being so far behind on blogging. ;)

First up is the very good looking Hayes family! They came to me for a mini and the twin boys were sad that it was so short. They just wanted to keep on taking pictures?! Love them

Baby Brynn is lovely...and also 50% Aussie! ;) Her Mom and Dad live in Australia and were down here (as opposed to "Down Under") visiting family. And what a sweet friend Mom has for giving her the gift of pictures from yours truly! ;)

I'm pretty sure this next one was my absolute fave from this session!

I got to see 2 babies in one day!

Introducing Ava! Way too much beauty for one family!

I love the Woods family! They are PBJ regulars and always a blast to photograph. This time was no exception!

So thankful to Heathersglen for allowing us to come shoot here last minute! Jill and John are getting married there in March and it's a good thing because the original spot where we were gonna shoot had direct sun and was not going to work.

Here is one of my favorite families, the Ely's. Always adorable....hmmm I wonder what college team they root for! ;)

THE MOST BELOVED TRACTOR IN THE WORLD

I just love it when kids get attached to things....I see teddy bears, dolls, and blankets all the time (my daughter calls her purple blanket her "deedee"). But never before have I seen a little toy John Deere tractor inside a sock to keep warm from the cold weather because it's owner just loves that tractor THAT much! Needless to say I got a kick out of (and maybe teared up a bit) when I met Evan and his very loved tractor....who makes his debut a little further down. This is Evan

My sweet friends, Amanda and Andrew, gave birth (at HOME I might add) to a beautiful, healthy baby girl! I showed up at their house 16 hours after she was born to snap a few of her with her fans. Elise, you are loved!

To continue my effort of trying to catch up on my blog posting:...

The Brueckners were the last smiling faces I saw before I waved "Bon Voyage" to land. It was nice to end the busy work week on a good note. This family is beautiful....and Dad is outnumbered! ;)

The last time I saw Claire she was smaller......SIGNIFICANTLY smaller!! Lol! She was just a newborn and now she is a happy, healthy 8 month old baby girl!

The Ellestad kids love to keep me on my feet! lol! So fun! I enjoyed this minisession...and the good exercise I got! ;)

I'm so thankful that the King's were willing to make the drive from Houston just for their photo shoot. Handsome little Landon is such a doll!

The Madrid's wanted a photo shoot in their home with a little bit of a vintage flair to it. I love vintage and when my clients do too?!!!!... *sigh* =)

LUCKY 13

This little handsome bundle of joy is such a sweet little dumpling. His parents are head over heals and it's easy to see why

I always love seeing the Loup's each year and this year I got to meet some more Loups! It's official they are ALL gorgeous, sweet people! So glad I made the drive out to their neck of the woods because this spot was delish! ;)

Sweet little Mia was my first minisession this year. Such a cutie!!

I really enjoyed meeting the Shultz's. Their daughter was hilarious! Anytime we asked her to do something she responded in a very sweet voice, "That's okay!" and shook her head. So polite! ;)

SWEETER THAN CUPCAKES

I have had such a great time meeting and photographing lots of new, wonderful people! I really do have the BEST clients out there!

This blog post is a 2for simply for the fact that I have lots of catching up to do.

First up is sweet little Hallie who was such a breeze because she is such a happy little cupcake...Oh!...I mean, girl! ;)

It was simply wonderful to meet this sweet family for the first time! And much applause to them for sticking it out and wearing sweaters and long sleeves in 90 degree weather to get some nice Christmas pics!?!

PIRATES AND PIXIES

Well, I am back from a much needed vacation! My husband and I and 2 of our best friends went on a cruise for vacation and to celebrate my husband and my 7 year anniversary! We had a blast! And thankfully we did not see any pirates ....but I did a few weeks ago! ;)

Sweet little Elizabeth celebrated her 3rd birthday with a Pirate and Pixie party! Her very festive Mom and Dad put together a fabulous party for her complete with everything from a treasure hunt, pirate ship, and even Captain Jack Sparrow himself?! ;)

Details: $50 for 15 minutes. Please no more than 5 people. Photos will be taken in Conroe area. As usual, you will get all your edited, full resolution photos (15-20) on a disk with the copyright release. These are great if you just need a couple good pics to chose from for Christmas cards & gifts! ;)

Also, come the first of the year I will be giving myself a raise! Sessions will start at $250.

Still on the journey of catching up and showing you tid-bits from shoots I have done over the last couple months around the time my computer crashed!

First up, Cameron!

He is such a happy, sweet baby! I just get a kick out of the ear to ear grin of his that shows his cute toofers!! ;)

It was such a pleasure to finally meet the Corbin family! My tumor issue made me have to cancel their shoot back in the spring but I am so glad I got to meet and photograph them this time! They are a beautiful, fun family!

It's always a pleasure traveling out to the George's neck of the woods. I just love this family and all their cuteness!!! These little boys are fun....and mobile!! lol....or at least big bro is! ;)

My computer crashed a couple weeks ago and has put me behind. I've got a lot of catching up to do! But I thank God that none of my files were deleted! yikes!

I photographed the fabulous Turners almost a month ago?! Half of them go to my church. What a beautiful bunch!
